a very warm welcome to all new readers. i love new readers so much that whenever i get an email about a new reader, i manifest that they always have a draft ready to share every week with their subscribers. thank you for joining us. may you never stare at a blinking cursor on a blank page a few hours before you need to put an edition out and with apparently nothing but fuzz in your brain.

i’m sure by now we’re all very used to me showing up in your inbox every week with my arms overflowing with words. this week, i sadly did not have the time to forage for those words. i stand in your inbox, very solemn and dignified, with some images instead.
